Ketiga tim tersebut lolos seleksi proposal dalam kompetisi UTM (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) Bridge Model Competition 2017. Ada dua tim dari Departemen Teknik Infrastruktur Sipil (DTIS) dan satu tim dari Departemen Teknik Sipil (DTS).
