Tidak terkecuali di daerah Surabaya. Atas alasan itulah Badan Semi Otonom (BSO) ITS Education Care Center (IECC) Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) turut mengupayakan advokasi siswa agar dapat kembali ke sekolah.
