Kebijakan pasar bebas Asean Economy Community (AEC) pun akhirnya menuntut tenaga kerja Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kualitasnya, terutama dalam kemapuan berkomunikasi internasional. Menyikapi hal itu, Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) ITS Foreign Language Society (IFLS) terapkan ITS English Day tiap hari Kamis.
