Dalam pertemuan yang dihadiri oleh Menteri Pendidikan Nasional, saat itu masih disebut demikian (bukan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan), para Rektor dan Ketua Kopertis antara lain melakukan kesepakatan mengenai anti menyontek dan anti plagiat.
