Spectacular, ITS Anargya Team Wins Three Titles at FSAE Japan

The ITS Anargya Team successfully won three FSAE Japan 2026 championship titles while on the Aichy Sky Expo Japan circuit track.

ITS Campus, ITS News — The Anargya Team from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) has once again achieved a brilliant and proud achievement on the international stage. This time, carrying the Mark 6.0 electric formula car, the Anargya ITS EV Team successfully won three titles at once at the 24th Formula SAE (FSAE) Japan 2026 event at the Aichi Sky Expo, Japan, which ran until Friday (August 7).

In this prestigious competition, Anargya ITS EV Team successfully won 1st Place Three-View Drawing Awards (EV), 2nd Place MathWorks Modeling Awards (EV), and 2nd Place PR Awards. Anargya ITS EV Team Supervising Lecturer Ir Alief Wikarta ST MSc Eng PhD expressed his pride in the collective achievements of his mentored team. “This achievement shows the team’s significant progress, especially in engineering precision, modeling utilization, and the ability to communicate innovation,” said the lecturer from the ITS Mechanical Engineering Department .

Regarding its innovative excellence, Alief explained that Mark 6.0 is the latest generation developed with a more mature design and modeling approach. The three-view drawing that won first place was deemed superior due to the precision of its technical visualization, while the MathWorks modeling that won second place demonstrated the optimization of electric vehicle performance simulations. “Cross-department collaboration is key to the success of the process from design to presentation,” he explained.

The journey to achieving these three titles was not without challenges, ranging from technical aspects and logistics to coordination between members from various departments. According to Alief, the team overcame these challenges through intensive guidance, continuous evaluation, and data-driven decision-making.

He also provided guidance not only on the technical side, but also on the presentation and documentation aspects that contributed to the PR Awards. “This brilliant achievement is the result of the dedication of all members of the Anargya ITS EV Team, who come from various departments at ITS,” said the lecturer from the ITS Solid State Mechanics Laboratory.

The successful achievement of the Anargya ITS EV Team’s car also contributes to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These include point 7 on Clean and Affordable Energy and point 9 on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure through the development of efficient electric vehicles. The Mark 6.0 innovation also supports SDG point 13 on Climate Change Management through emission reductions. “Hopefully, ITS will continue to be a campus that drives the birth of new innovations as the Home of Champions,” Alief said optimistically. (ITS Public Relations)
