ITS Campus, ITS News — The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) once again graduated its youngest students at its 132nd Graduation Ceremony, which began Saturday (August 20th). These were Davina Panorama Viradhika from the Industrial Engineering program at ITS and Wan Sabrina Mayzura from the Informatics Engineering program at ITS. They graduated at just 20 years and 4 months old, after completing eight semesters of study.

Davina began her educational journey at SDN Pengalaman 2 Malang. The daughter of Dandung Kusdiantoro and Tatik Yuniati, she enrolled in an accelerated program while at SMPN 3 Malang. There, she adapted to the fast-paced learning environment and graduated in two years.

In high school, the girl with a passion for music was again successful in getting an accelerated program, allowing her to graduate even faster. At SMAN 3 Malang, Davina was one of the earliest graduates among her classmates. After graduating, she decided to attend ITS. “I was again selected for the accelerated program in high school because of my track record in junior high,” she explained.

While studying at ITS, the girl born on May 25, 2005, admitted to being interested in committees and management. This interest was demonstrated when she joined the Industrial Engineering Student Association (HMTI), particularly at the Industrial Engineering (IE) Fair Department. Furthermore, she was also active as a laboratory assistant, which led her to visit several large companies, such as PT Insera Sena, the manufacturer of the Polygon brand bicycles.

Looking ahead, after graduating on September 28th, Davina has chosen to further explore the world of work, which has led her to try out numerous internships in her chosen fields. “Right now, I’m going to explore work experiences that align with my interests and field,” concluded the basketball enthusiast.

Moving on to Wan Sabrina Mayzura, or Sabrina as she’s known, she began her educational journey in elementary school at the age of 5. At SDN 50 Bengkalis, Sabrina began adapting to learning alongside older students. “At that time, not many elementary schools accepted students my age, so I was grateful to be able to attend school early,” said the girl born in Pekanbaru on May 20, 2005.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity, the daughter of Wan Muhammad Faizal and Dariana also accelerated her education at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. Recipient of a Riau Provincial Government Scholarship, she completed high school in two years and continued her education at ITS at the age of 16. This gave her a taste of college before other teenagers her age.

At ITS, the girl, who has a passion for watching films, began her career as a freshman, focusing on academics and participating in several non-academic activities, such as committees. Beyond her focus on committees, the eldest of two siblings also has extensive experience in community service, such as the Community Service Program (KKN Abmas).

Not wanting to stop contributing, Sabrina, who graduated on the first day, is now continuing her education at the ITS postgraduate level, pursuing her Master’s and Doctoral studies simultaneously with the FAST-D scholarship she received from ITS. She hopes that in pursuing her further studies, she can provide more benefits that impact others. This hope aligns with ITS’s commitment to having an impact on sustainability based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4, namely Quality Education. (ITS Public Relations)
