The enthusiasm of visitors to the 45th BKI in obtaining information at one of the partner company stands

ITS Campus, ITS News — The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) continues to provide support to its students, including in pursuing post-graduate careers. As graduation approaches, ITS is holding its 45th ITS Career Fair (BKI) for two days, starting Wednesday (September 17) at the ITS Graduation Center.

This twice-yearly event is being held in collaboration with 44 national and multinational corporate partners, from the energy sector to the food and beverage industry. The event includes industry booths, industry presentations, a virtual job fair , and job vacancy exposures . The event is open to the public, especially job seekers.

Unlike previous years, this year’s event also included the in-person launch of the ITS Job Portal by ITS Rector Prof. Dr. (HC) Ir. Bambang Pramujati, ST, MScEng, PhD. This digital platform aims to accelerate and integrate the job search process for ITS students. Furthermore, the Equity: Career Development Program (CDP) was introduced, a program specifically designed to hone and prepare ITS students for their careers.

On that occasion, Bambang stated that ITS is one of the universities widely trusted to assume a high level of responsibility in developing competent and globally competitive human resources. “This activity is also expected to open doors to broader opportunities between students and companies,” said the ITS Professor of Mechanical Engineering.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the 45th BKI Committee, Dr. Ir. Hertiari Idajati, ST, MSc, in her report, stated that this activity was intended to provide ITS students and the general public with the opportunity to obtain information on company vacancies more quickly. She also expressed her appreciation for the participation of various corporate partners in making this event a success.

Meanwhile, Dewi Kurnia Salwa, Director of Human Resources (HR) & Business Support at PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS), also delivered remarks on behalf of the company. She stated that ITS, as a university with many alumni active in the company, boasts high-quality graduates. “PIS is actively pursuing innovative and sustainable business and requires renewed energy and enthusiasm to accelerate these goals,” she explained.
