ITS Campus, ITS News — To support the quality of education for the surrounding community and its students, the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), through the Manarul Ilmi Foundation (YMI) and the ITS Alumni Association (PP IKA), is distributing scholarships. Thirty-one ITS students and 38 schoolchildren from the surrounding community are receiving the scholarships.
ITS Rector Prof. Ir. Bambang Pramujati, ST, MSc, Eng, PhD, stated that this assistance demonstrates ITS’ commitment to providing the widest possible benefits to the community. Bambang also stated that the scholarships are essential for ensuring the education of ITS students and students in the surrounding areas. “This program will continue and be extended into the future,” he explained.
Students and students receiving scholarships from YMI – IKA ITS attended the scholarship handover ceremony at the ITS Rectorate Building.
Meanwhile, Ika Putri Rahma Daniya, Operations Coordinator of YMI ITS, explained that the scholarship itself stemmed from the recent COVID-19 outbreak. The high death toll among both ITS students and local residents prompted YMI ITS to implement this assistance program. “This scholarship has continued to grow and is still running today,” she added.
Ika further explained that the collaboration between YMI and IKA ITS, which began in 2024, further strengthens support for the program. This is also because YMI and IKA ITS share a common goal and vision: to contribute from ITS.

This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4, which focuses on quality education. It is hoped that this scholarship will attract more donors or foster parents to further expand ITS’s benefits to the surrounding community. (ITS Public Relations)
