
ITS Campus, ITS News — The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) received a grant of two operational buggy cars from PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Persero on Thursday (June 4). The assistance demonstrates BTN’s support for ITS’s efforts to improve campus mobility and operational efficiency.
The grant handover was symbolically carried out by the Head of the BTN Balinusa Regional Office, Bagus Hendri Setiawan, to ITS Rector, Prof. Dr. (HC) Ir. Bambang Pramujati, ST, MScEng, PhD. This collaboration was also initiated by ITS Vice Rector II for Planning, Finance, and Infrastructure, Dr. Machsus, ST, MT, as part of strengthening the synergy between ITS and BTN.

In his remarks, Bambang expressed his appreciation for BTN’s support to ITS. He stated that the operational vehicle assistance supports ITS’s efforts to create a more sustainable campus environment. “These vehicles will facilitate mobility for the academic community, especially ITS students, and will also reduce carbon emissions on campus,” he said.
Responding to this, Bagus Hendri Setiawan, Head of the BTN Balinusa Regional Office, stated that the initiative aligns with BTN’s vision as a banking partner. He added that the grant also aligns with the company’s mandate to support the financing and development of programs related to new and renewable energy.

Furthermore, the figure familiarly known as Hendri explained that the assistance distributed by BTN is part of a long-standing strategic partnership with ITS. He stated that ITS has consistently opened up opportunities for collaboration, allowing BTN to contribute to supporting various campus development programs.
In this regard, Hendri stated that ITS has successfully maintained the synergy of each long-term strategic partnership. Furthermore, these two operational vehicles were designed by the ITS academic community through the ITS Automotive Science Techno Park (STP). “ITS is the one that always provides opportunities for BTN to contribute, thus creating a mutually beneficial relationship,” Hendri said.

To symbolize the handover of the two buggy cars , the event continued with the cutting of a tumpeng (rice cone) and a tour of the campus using the vehicles by the ITS Chancellor, along with BTN leaders and representatives. This event marked the commitment of both parties to strengthening collaboration to improve the quality of services on campus.
Going forward, ITS and BTN are committed to continuing their collaboration in various aspects. This collaboration aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4 on Quality Education and point 17 on Partnerships to Achieve the Goals. (*)
