ITS Endowment Fund Receives Rp 177 Million in Donations from ITS’s 132nd Graduation Ceremony

The Rp. 65 thousand donation campaign for the ITS Endowment Fund was promoted at the 132nd ITS Graduation Ceremony some time ago.

ITS Campus, ITS News — To support the development and advancement of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), the 132nd ITS Graduation Ceremony successfully raised Rp 177 million in donations for the Endowment Fund. This amount was obtained through a series of ITS 132nd Graduation Ceremony activities held over four days, September 20-21 and 27-28, 2025, at the ITS Graduation Building.

Dr. Eng Kriyo Sambodho, ST, MEng, Director of the ITS Endowment Fund Management Institute (LPDA), stated that this achievement is not just a number, but a concrete manifestation of a shared commitment to building the sustainability of the Campus of Heroes. “This step supports ITS’s role in making a real impact on Indonesia’s future,” he emphasized.

The man, familiarly known as Dhodhot, explained that donations received into the ITS Endowment Fund will be held as principal funds, with no depreciation in value. The proceeds will be used for investment, along with the proceeds from previous fund management. The investment proceeds will then be used to support the welfare of the entire ITS community.

ITS Chancellor Prof. Dr. (HC) Ir. Bambang Pramujati ST MSc Eng PhD when inviting graduates and guests at the 132nd ITS Graduation to participate in the Rp. 65 thousand donation movement to the ITS Endowment Fund as part of the 65th ITS Anniversary celebrations.

The ITS Endowment Fund’s participation in the 132nd ITS Graduation Ceremony marks the first step in carrying out the ITS Endowment Fund’s mission to build an ecosystem and culture of donations. Dhodhot believes that knowledge and wealth are truly meaningful when shared with others as a form of service. “Therefore, through ITS Endowment Fund donations, all elements of society can contribute to building a lasting impact,” he explained.

In the future, the ITS Endowment Fund will continue to be present to support ITS activities that directly impact the ITS community and the community. The lecturer in the ITS Department of Ocean Engineering is confident that together, we can achieve the goal of building quality and inclusive education. “Affordable education costs and adequate educational facilities are the goals of the ITS Endowment Fund,” he said.

Furthermore, the Secretary of LPDA ITS Ir Safira Firdaus Mujiyanti ST MT detailed that the total donation of Rp 177 million was obtained through 1,343 transactions from participating graduates, families, and guests. On the first day of the 132nd ITS Graduation, Saturday (20/9), donations received amounted to Rp 27,076,313 from 274 transactions. On the second day, Sunday (21/9), donations entered into the ITS Endowment Fund reached Rp 35,993,941 from 280 transactions.

Furthermore, on the third day of ITS’s 132nd Graduation Ceremony, Saturday (September 27th), donations totaling Rp 53,581,034 from 431 transactions were successfully collected. Meanwhile, on the final day, Sunday (September 28th), donations totaling Rp 60,501,751 from 358 transactions were successfully collected into the ITS Endowment Fund. “We would like to thank all the donors who participated,” he expressed gratitude.

The lecturer from the ITS Instrumentation Engineering Department stated that the addition to the ITS Endowment Fund will also increase the benefits provided. The proceeds will be used to support the welfare of the ITS community and the development of innovation. This step also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), point 4 on Quality Education and point 10 on Reducing Inequality. (ITS Public Relations)
