ITS Campus, ITS News — The Anargya Team of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) has once again achieved brilliant achievements in the international arena through the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (FSAE) Japan 2025 competition. In this prestigious competition, this proud ITS research team managed to secure the 2nd place title for the Presentation Event in the Electric Vehicle class and was awarded the 1st Place Public Relations Award.

FSAE Japan provides a platform for students worldwide to compete in building electric formula cars. The competition encourages participants to develop cars, taking into account technical aspects, design concepts, costs, and marketing. This year, the ITS Anargya Team again competed against 89 university teams from around the world.

Daffana Adiel Hadrian, Non-Technical Manager of the ITS Anargya Team, explained that in the Presentation Event category , participants were encouraged to present the results of their research. The presentations covered technical aspects, design analysis, costs, and business strategies for the electric formula car they were developing. “We are very proud to be able to build on the team’s innovations and achievements from last year,” he said proudly.

Daffana explained that the innovation proposed by the ITS Anargya Team this time is a development of the idea proposed in the same previous competition. Adopting an environmental approach, the ITS Anargya Team implemented sustainability in its manufacturing process, including the use of environmentally friendly materials and minimizing carbon emissions.

The ITS Anargya Team was also awarded a Public Relations Award for their dedication to raising awareness of electric formula car research. The team’s dedication to raising public awareness was demonstrated through the demonstrations of their cars both on and off campus. “We collaborate with various parties to carry out this mission,” explained the ITS Business Management student .

The ITS Anargya Team has proven this contribution by actively contributing to major exhibitions in Indonesia such as the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) and the 2025 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). In addition, Daffana revealed that the ITS Anargya Team is also actively introducing electric formula car research to students and new students through the Gerigi x UKM Expo ITS 2025 and Ini Lho ITS 2025 activities.

Through this achievement, the ITS Anargya Team has successfully delivered a beneficial innovation that supports environmental sustainability. The electric vehicle research team’s efforts are also aligned with the ideals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) . Points supported include point 7 on clean and affordable energy and point 9 on industry, innovation, and infrastructure.

Daffana hopes that the ITS Anargya Team’s ongoing research and innovation will raise public awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability. The ITS Anargya Team’s achievements this time will once again serve as a motivator to continue competing on the international stage. “We are confident that our nation’s students possess the same capabilities as students from other renowned universities worldwide,” he asserted optimistically. (ITS Public Relations)
