ITS accepts 2,363 new prospective students from the 2025 SNBT pathway
ITS Campus, ITS News – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has again accepted 2,363 prospective new students (maba) through the 2025 National Test-Based Selection (SNBT) pathway. The results of this selection were officially announced simultaneously by the Education Testing Management Agency (BP3) online, Wednesday (28/5), at 15.00 WIB.
Head of Subdirectorate of Admission and Promotion, Directorate of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education ITS Nani Kurniati ST MT PhD said that this time the number of SNBT registrants at ITS was 37,745. Meanwhile, ITS prepared a quota of 2,363 seats for prospective new students on the pathway. “This number has increased from the previous year, both in terms of the number of registrants and the quota of students accepted,” said Nani.
The lecturer of the ITS Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering revealed that ITS was the first choice of 17,384 applicants and the second choice of 12,538 applicants. In addition, the D4 Civil Infrastructure Engineering Study Program, S1 Informatics Engineering, and S1 Systems and Industrial Engineering were the most popular this year. According to him, the increase in the ranking of engineering study programs at ITS was the reason for the significant increase in the number of applicants who chose these study programs.

For your information, the quota available in the SNBT pathway is around 30 percent of the total selection of new students at ITS for 2025. Not only that, the scholarships supported by ITS for new students also vary every year, such as the Smart Indonesia Card Scholarship – College (KIP-K), the Nusantara Student Dormitory Scholarship (AMN), the ITS Alumni Association (IKA) scholarship, and many other scholarships.
Nani also said that prospective new students who have not been accepted through the SNBT pathway need not worry or despair. Because, Nani continued, ITS also offers various other entry pathways that are still available, namely SMITS Future Leader and Academic Talent (FLAT), SMITS Academic and Competence Excellence (ACE), and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) which are already available on the ITS website. “This selection pathway is still open until June 4,” he explained.
With the announcement of the SNBT results, ITS is ready to become a place for academic and non-academic development with various supports and facilities provided. ITS also supports the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4 on quality education, namely by providing various supporting educational facilities.
Seeing ITS’s consistently increasing commitment, Nani hopes that prospective new students accepted through the SNBT pathway at ITS can become superior generations and continue to serve the nation and state. He also expressed his pride in the efforts to improve the quality of education at ITS which is increasingly inclusive. “This shows that the image of Kampus Pahlawan as the best engineering education institution is increasingly recognized by the wider community,” he concluded.
