The Technology Management Master’s Degree Program in Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (MMT-ITS) submitted a study program reaccreditation proposal to the Higher Education National Accreditation Agency (BAN-PT). The purpose of accreditation is to provide assurance that the management of study programs meets quality standards that have been set nationally. This accreditation is updated every five years. To note, MMT-ITS has achieved A accreditation (the best category) in the 2014-2019 period. Therefore, at the accreditation of this period, MMT-ITS targets to maintain the A value.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The preparation process is carried out around a year by preparing complete administrative documents. The next process was carried out with field visits \/ visitations carried out by two assessors from BAN-PT. Visitation at MMT-ITS was held on 18-20 February 2019, with assessors namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Sudarso Kaderi Wiryono, DEA (Bandung Institute of Technology) and Dr. Dra. Indi Djastuti, M.S. (Diponegoro University).<\/p>\n
The first day’s visit began with a visit of an assessor to the ITS Rector at the Sukolilo Campus to meet the Deputy Chancellor 1 of ITS for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heru Setyawan, M.Eng. The ITS delegates who attended the meeting included the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology Management (FBMT) (Prof. Dr. Ir. Udisubakti Ciptomulyono, M.Eng.Sc), Deputy Dean of FBMT (Prof. Dr. Ir. Tri Widjaja, M. Eng.), Deputy of the ITS Quality Assurance Office (Nani Kurniati, ST, MT, Ph.D.), and FBMT Staff (Waluyo Prasetyo, ST, MT). The visit was then followed by a faculty visitation by Prof. Sudarso went to the FBMT office to verify faculty data.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile at the Cokroaminoto Campus, the study program visitation was carried out by Dr. Indi Djastuti. The verification process of study program data was carried out between assessors and MMT-ITS managers, namely the Head of Department (Prof. Ir. I Nyoman Pujawan, M. Eng., Ph.D.), Secretary of the Department (Dr. Ir. Mokh. Suef, M.Sc (Eng.)), And Head of the Study Program (Dr. Techn. Ir. RV Hari Ginardi, M.Sc.), lecturers, and education staff.<\/p>\n

The second day of the visitation agenda was continued by interviewing the assessors in sequence to the lecturer representatives at 09.00 WIB, students (10.00 WIB), alumni (11.00 WIB), and alumni users (12.00 WIB). These stakeholders were very enthusiastic in attending the accreditation visitation agenda which took place in Room 207 and the Executive Training Room.<\/p>\n
