Prof. Nurul Widiastuti, Ph.D., is a full professor in membrane chemistry and adsorption. She got her bachelor’s degree from Department of Chemistry ITS, master’s degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and Ph.D. degree from Curtin University, Australia. 

Prof. Nurul has a long and mature experience in curriculum development, specifically in higher education institutions. During her career, she has served in various positions in the curriculum development bureau at ITS. She also actively gave talks on curriculum development in various universities in Indonesia. She is now serving as Vice Rector I for Academics at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS).

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Irmina Kris Murwani adalah seorang Profesor penuh dalam bidang katalis heterogen. Beliau merupakan angkatan pertama program Sarjana di Departemen Kimia ITS setelah didirikan pada tahun 1983. Prof. Irmina memperoleh gelar Magister dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) dan gelar Doktor dalam bidang Kimia dari Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Fokus penelitian Prof. Irmina adalah pengembangan katalis heterogen, terutama berbasis struktur fluorite dan material berbasis fosfor untuk berbagai aplikasi di bidang energi, kedokteran, dan farmasi. Penelitiannya mencakup, namun tidak terbatas pada, pengembangan katalis heterogen untuk konversi minyak kelapa sawit, sintesis Vitamin E, sintesis parasetamol, asilasi fenol, serta hidrohalogenasi. Prof. Irmina telah menerbitkan publikasi di berbagai jurnal katalisis bereputasi, seperti Journal of Catalysis, Catalysis Today, Catalysis Communication, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, serta Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry.

Prof. Ahmad Fauzi is an internationally recognized scientist in the field of membrane science and technology. His expertise includes:

• Polymeric, mixed-matrix, inorganic, and photocatalytic membranes
• Water treatment, desalination, and wastewater management
• Gas separation and purification technologies (CO₂ removal, acid gas treatment)
• Palm oil processing applications (degumming, deacidification)
• Nanostructured materials and carbon fibers for energy and membrane applications

• Author/co-author of more than 550 journal articles, 6 books, over 50 book chapters, and 8 edited volumes
• Holder of several patents in membrane technology and related innovations

Recipient of Hosokawa’s Young Promising Researchers Award 2016 and Society of Powder Technology Japan (SPTJ)’s Outstanding International Contributor 2019.

A technology enthusiast aiming at developing processing technology and bringing it to industrial scale for the nation’s sovereignity. A music lover who once played piano and conducted an orchestra.
