Dr. Ir. Ahmad Saikhu, S.Si, M.T.

Bio

Dr. Ir. Ahmad Saikhu, S.Si., M.T. is a Senior Lecturer and currently serves as the Vice Head of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology Studies at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Statistics at ITS in 1994, followed by a Master’s degree in Informatics Engineering in 2000, and earned his Doctoral degree in Computer Science from ITS in 2019. His undergraduate research focused on evaluating public healthcare service patterns in Surabaya using log-linear modeling, while his master’s thesis investigated the performance of ARIMA and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models for nonlinear time-series data. His doctoral dissertation proposed a Hybrid PCSUF-RNN model for rainfall prediction using global variables in monsoon zone regions. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, time-series forecasting, data mining, natural language processing, Internet of Things (IoT), and intelligent systems applications in environmental, energy, and healthcare domains.
