KATD45’ Session Series #08: Exploring Research Opportunities in Radiology with Dr. Soetomo General Hospital

Surabaya, July 15, 2025 — The Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology (KATD) hosted another session of its strategic forum, KATD45’ Session Series #08, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration under the theme:
“Exploring Research Opportunities in Radiology with Dr. Soetomo General Hospital.”

Held virtually via Zoom Cloud Meeting on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM (WIB), the session featured dr. Fierly Hayati, Sp.Rad., a radiologist from RSUD Dr. Soetomo, as the main speaker.

Dr. Fierly shared valuable insights on the potential of collaborative research between the medical field and digital technologies—especially in leveraging artificial intelligence for medical imaging, diagnostic accuracy, and clinical decision support systems.

This session marked an important step in fostering collaboration between national healthcare institutions and digital innovation centers within ITS.
