Selain untuk membantu menjelaskan peristiwa\u2013peristiwa atau proses\u2013proses fisik, kimiawi dan biologi, pemodelan juga bisa menjadi sarana simulasi, serta dapat digunakan untuk memperkirakan, memprediksi dan mempelajari berbagai kemungkinan yang terjadi dengan menggunakan dan mengaplikasikan berbagai skenario.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, teknik lingkungan merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu yang mengembangkan keilmuan, metodologi, pengukuran, analisis masalah, dan rekomendasi permasalahan-permasalahan di bidang lingkungan, khususnya dari sisi pendekatan teknik dan manajemen.<\/p>\n<p>Buku ini berisi metode pemodelan yang menggunakan sistem dinamik teknik lingkungan.
