Fluida mencakup zat cair dan gas, yang di dalam praktek pada umumnya adalah air (hidrodinamika) atau udara (aerodinamika). CFD merupakan pendekatan ketiga dalam bidang ilmu dinamika fluida, melengkapi pendekatan teoretis dan eksperimental yang sudah ada sebelumnya.<\/p>\n<p>CFD memegang peran yang sangat penting dalam praktek dinamika fluida pada saat ini, baik untuk keperluan analisis maupun desain, serta merupakan alat bantu dalam riset dan inovasi.<\/p>\n<p>Buku ini ditujukan utamanya untuk mahasiswa dan dosen pengampu mata kuliah dinamika fluida komputasi di Departemen Teknik Perkapalan, Fakultas Teknologi Kelautan, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya.
