\nBuku ini mengupas tuntas perkembangan arsitektur Rumah Joglo, sebuah warisan budaya dari arsitektur vernakular Jawa yang diwariskan turun-temurun. Fokus utama penelitian terletak pada adaptasi desain Rumah Joglo di kawasan pesisir, khususnya di wilayah Pati, Jawa Tengah, yang terkenal dengan posisinya di jalur Pantura. Pengaruh kehidupan pesisir dan perubahan yang dibawa oleh perdagangan serta konektivitas menciptakan kombinasi unik antara desain vernakular Jawa dan gaya hidup pesisir.<\/p>\n

Buku ini juga membahas perubahan gaya hidup penghuni yang memengaruhi evolusi desain Rumah Joglo dari perspektif ekonomi dan sosial dalam prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif post-positivisme, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi 30 rumah Joglo dengan fokus pada kondisi fisik dan sosial mereka. Menggunakan strategi korelasi sebagai pendekatan dominan dan argumentasi logis sebagai pendekatan pendukung, penelitian ini mengevaluasi bagaimana faktor-faktor seperti kepemilikan perangkat elektronik, lama tinggal, dan pendapatan memengaruhi desain bangunan.<\/p>\n

Dengan analisis Justified Plan Graph dan korelasi, buku ini menghadirkan temuan penting bahwa perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat memicu penggunaan material modern dan penataan ruang yang lebih kompleks pada rumah Joglo.
