ITS Awards

ITS gives awards to figures who have a great contribution to society. The main criteria for this award are the leader who his/her achievements are admired by society and the level of contribution to ITS. The award can be in the form of Honoris Causa (H.C.) and ITS Awards. In general, ITS Award was divided into five categories, i.e. Sepuluh Nopember Award, Angka Nitisastro Award, Innovative Lectures, the National Lecturer Achievement Award, and the Award for Company that has a strong collaboration with ITS.

Dr. (H.C.) Susi Pudjiastuti

An honorary doctorate or Honoris Causa is awarded in Management and Conservation of Marine Resources. The award was given at the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Dr. (H.C.) Ir. Tri Rismaharini, M.T

An honorary doctorate or Honoris Causa is given in Urban Development Management. The award was awarded on March 4th, 2015.

Dr. (H.C.) Hermawan Kartajaya, S.E, M.Sc

The first honorary doctorate or Honoris Causa in the history of ITS was awarded in the achievement of world marketing science. The award was awarded on December 15th, 2010.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Rahardi Ramelan M.Sc

The title of Professor is given in the field of Manufacturing Systems Science. The award was given at the ITS Senate Open Meeting on November 22th, 1997.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Nuh, DEA

He has contributed to the nation by becoming the Rector of ITS for the 2003-2007 period and the Minister of National Education Republic of Indonesia for the 2009-2014 period. This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Ir. Lies Hartono

He has excelled in the arts and culture and its development. The award was given at the commemoration of the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Dr. Siti Machmudah ST. M.Eng

He has raised the image of ITS in the world of science and technology. This award was given at the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Ir. Agus Rahardjo M.S.M.

He is a Civil Engineering ITS alumni who had served as Chair of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for the 2015-2019 period. This award was given at the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Prof. Mahmud Zaki M.Sc.

He has works, merit achievements for the development of ITS and was the Chancellor of the 1973-1982 ITS Period. The award was given at the commemoration of the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Prof. Dr. jur Bodo Wiegand-Hoffmeister

He is the leader of an international university, Wismar University, which has promoted collaborative education and research with ITS. This award was given at the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Ir. H. Ibnu Susilo

He is a Mechanical Engineering ITS alumni engaged in Engineering & Technology especially in aircraft design and analysis, automotive, simulators, and automation system integration. This award was given at the 57th Dies Natalis.

Ir. M. Choliq, MM

In addition to having a national achievement, he was able to improve the cooperation relationship between BUMN with ITS. The award was given at the commemoration of the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Fajar Hutomo, ST. M.MT.

He improved government cooperation with ITS and improved ITS’s image in government. This award was given at the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Dr. (H.C.) Susi Pudjiastuti

He has a track record in maritime, and is able to show the quality of good leader. This award was given in 2015.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Johan Silas

He has built and raised ITS in the national and international in Indonesian urban planning. This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Ir. Sutopo Kristanto, M.M

He raised ITS in the construction sector through PT Jaya Konstruksi Penggala Pratama. The award was given at the 57th Dies Natalis ITS.

Muhtadin, ST. MT.

He is a lecturer in the Computer Engineering department ITS and is the supervisor of the ITS Champion in Robocup, ITS ICHIRO team. He has led the ICHIRO team to win robotics competitions to the international level. This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Rudi Dikairono, ST. MT.

He is a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering department ITS and is the supervisor of the ITS Barunastra team. He has led the Barunastra team to win robotics competitions to the international level. This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Dr. Ing. Ir. Bambang Soemardiono

He is a lecturer in Architecture and a supervisor of the ITS Student Choir (PSM) team. He has led the ITS PSM team to become champions in the choir competition. This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Dr. Muhammad Nur Yuniarto

This Mechanical Engineering lecturer is a supervisor of the ITS Lowo Ireng Team who are competing in the automotive field. This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Ir. Witantyo M.Eng Sc.

He escorted the ITS automotive team in international competitions. The award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Prof. Dr. Ketut Buda Artana ST. M.Sc.

This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS. He was the first winner of the 2019 Academy Leader in maritime science.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Suprapto DEA

He was the first winner of the 2019 Academy Leader category lecturer with additional duties as head of the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI). The award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Dr. Drs. Darminto M.Sc.

He won second place in the Academic Leader in the field of science. This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS.

Drs. EC. Ir. Riyanarto Sarno M. Sc. Ph.D.

This award was given at the 59th Dies Natalis ITS. He won first place in the scientific publication of the author category in the 2019 Science and Technology Index (SINTA) Award.
