The Information Technology Department (DTI) ITS team together with the management of RSUD Dr. Soetomo during the strengthening of cooperation in the field of information technology.
Surabaya, IT Journalistic — The Information Technology Department (DTI) of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) continues to expand cross-sector collaboration by establishing a strategic partnership with RSUD Dr. Soetomo. This offline activity was conducted at RSUD Dr. Soetomo as an effort to strengthen synergy in the field of information technology, particularly to support internal IT system audits in the medical sector.
The activity began with a welcoming session for the DTI ITS team by the management of RSUD Dr. Soetomo, which was attended by the Vice Director of Planning and Finance of RSUD Dr. Soetomo, Primada Kusumaninggar, drg., M.Kes., M.A.R.S., and the Vice Director of Professional Education, Research, and Human Resources of RSUD Dr. Soetomo, Dr. Damayanti Tinduh, dr., Sp.KFR (K). The event then continued with an initial discussion session addressing the scope of cooperation and the role of information technology in supporting healthcare service governance. The discussion took place interactively, focusing on the need for reliable, secure, and integrated systems to support hospital operations.

In this activity, DTI ITS was represented by Ridho Rahman Hariadi, S.Kom., M.Sc. and Irzal Ahmad Sabilla, S.Kom., M.Kom., who delivered presentations on the role of information technology in the internal audit process. The presentation covered aspects such as system security enhancement, data management, and improving efficiency and transparency of digital-based services. This presentation served as an initial foundation to align perspectives between academic institutions and healthcare service providers.

Furthermore, the activity continued with a technical discussion on the potential implementation of information technology solutions to support internal IT audit processes at RSUD Dr. Soetomo. The discussion covered IT governance, information security, and the utilization of digital systems to improve decision-making quality within the hospital environment.
As a closing, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to making this cooperation a starting point for sustainable collaboration between DTI ITS and RSUD Dr. Soetomo, including in the areas of information technology audits, system development, and applied research opportunities in the healthcare sector.
Through this collaboration, DTI ITS and RSUD Dr. Soetomo contribute to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by promoting the use of reliable and sustainable information technology in the medical field.
