Surabaya, IT Journalistic — The Department of Information Technology (DTI) of the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has once again demonstrated its contribution to addressing national challenges through a strategic collaboration with Dr. Soetomo Hospital in Surabaya. This partnership focuses on developing an information technology masterplan to support the digital transformation of health services.
At a meeting held at the Command Center of the Communication and Information Technology Installation of Dr. Soetomo Hospital, the DTI ITS team actively participated in formulating the IT masterplan to support the hospital’s digital transformation. Present at the event were representatives from Dr. Soetomo Hospital, including Wahyudi Nugroho, S.Kom. (Head of the Communication and Information Technology Installation), Ika Wulandari, S.Kom., M.T. (Head of the Data and Information Sub-Division Working Team), and Ridho Robby Gayuhaneki, S.ST. (Head of the IT Infrastructure Unit), along with other relevant staff.
From ITS, this collaboration involves a number of expert lecturers in their respective fields, including Prof. Dr. I Ketut Eddy Purnama, S.T., M.T. from Computer Engineering; Royyana Muslim Ijtihadie, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D. and Dr. Dwi Sunaryono, S.Kom., M.Kom. from Informatics Engineering; as well as Ridho Rahman Harladi, S.Kom., M.Sc. and Irzal Ahmad Sabilla, S.Kom., M.Kom. from the ITS Department of Information Technology. This diversity of expertise ensures a comprehensive approach in developing the IT masterplan.

Ridho Rahman Harladi, S.Kom., M.Sc., one of the involved DTI lecturers, explained that ITS’s role in this collaboration is primarily in the aspects of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Cybersecurity. “We were asked to help design the IT masterplan, including the data center planning to be implemented in the coming years,” he said.
He added that although this is a short-term collaboration targeted for completion in December 2025, it is expected to have a real impact on improving health services through reliable and integrated IT infrastructure. “The diversity of expertise of the ITS lecturer team ensures a comprehensive approach in formulating an IT masterplan that aligns with the hospital’s needs,” he emphasized.
