Surabaya, IT Journalistic — The Undergraduate (S1) Information Technology Study Program at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) has officially obtained a Superior accreditation rating. The decision is stated in the Decree (SK) of the Independent Accreditation Institution for Informatics and Computers (LAM Infokom) Number 182/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/AK/S/VIII/2025 and was announced after an intensive three-day field assessment process from August 11–13, 2025. This highest achievement affirms the commitment of the Information Technology Department (DTI) to providing high-quality education relevant to the needs of the digital industry.
A series of comprehensive field assessments was the main agenda during the three-day visitation. The first day focused on in-depth discussion sessions between the assessor team and the leadership of ITS and the department, as well as the verification of forms and supporting documents. On the second day, the assessors directly reviewed various academic support facilities, ranging from classrooms and laboratories to the library.

The peak of the field assessment occurred on the third day, where the DTI ITS held a work exhibition featuring various innovative projects from final assignments, coursework, and student research. This session was followed by interviews with lecturers, educational staff, and student representatives to obtain a comprehensive picture of the teaching-learning process and academic life within the department.
