The Rocket Research Team Visits BRIN-LAPAN as a Continuation of the Rocket Tip Nose Cone Research

After previously conducting research on surface engineering of rocket nose cone tips through the National Research Priority program. Students who are part of the research team had the opportunity to visit BRIN-LAPAN to present research results as well as study visits in BRIN’s Rocket Technology area on 27 January 2022. The event began with a presentation of research results to Mrs. Lilis and BRIN researchers in the rocket field.

Then proceed with a presentation of further research that will be carried out in the future. As well as ongoing research at the Rocket Technology Center delivered by Mr. Herry.

Then the team visited several laboratories there, including the Mechanical Characteristics Test Laboratory for Propellant Liner / Inhibitor Laboratory, as well as the Static Test Laboratory.

With this visit, the research team hopes that research for the next stage will be able to support the launch of a 2-level sonde rocket supported by resources and facilities that can be used integratedly.
