Meetings Room of The International Meeting of Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (ELECTICS) and California State University (CSU) Professor, Khondaker Salehin.

Continue improve international recognition and expand networkings with foreign university, the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (ELECTICS) of the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) hold an international meeting with Khondaker Salehin. Professor from the Department of Computer Science at California State University (CSU).
The online meeting held on Saturday (6/6) and conducted by ELECTICS’ Dean, Dr I Ketut Eddy Purnama ST MT and attended by several lecturer from the faculty. “This meeting was held for improving the cooperation with international partner,” said the lecturer who is familiarly called Ketut.The meeting started with discussion and sharing session about computer engineering and networking presented by Professor Salehin. After that, the meeting continues with the introduction of ITS Campus and ELECTICS profile including the presentation of the department and study programs offered by the faculty.Then, the discussion proceed to the extension of great opportunities for both parties to carry out various collaboration programs. Among them are the opportunities to be able to do student/staff exchange between ITS and CSU, or the chance for ITS Student to continue their studies at CSU’s Computer Science Department. Ketut said that they will prepare the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two universities at the future.Professor Salehin himself stated that he is ready to do collaboratation with ELECTICS. Such as becoming the committee and send his papers in several conferences that will be held by ELECTICS like The International Conference on Computer Engineering, Network and Intelligent Multimedia (CENIM) 2020 and The International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications ( ISITIA) 2021 later.

In addition, the Bangladeshi professor also opened the opportunity to do joint publication with ELECTICS in various conferences such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) 2020 and IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) 2020. ” Our cooperation will start from small things and will develop gradually to a larger scale, ” added Salehin.ELECTICS itself welcomed the opportunities of doing collaboration enthusiastically. Secretary of the Academic and Student Affairs Department of the Informatics Department, Ary Mazharuddin Shiddiqi stated that his party continued to open opportunities for cooperation in various scopes of research, student and staff exchange or joint degrees.For him, establishing connections with various universities worldwide would increase the international exposure in the academic environment of the campus. “This will add experience to our education system and increase relation for our students and staffs,” the man who is familiarly called Ary explains.Through this meeting, ELECTICS also supported ITS steps toward world class university. “Hopefully, we can increase the output in several international collaborations including joint publications, joint supervision and joint research,” concluded Ketut.
