Current nanomaterial research is also of particular concern in our Study Program. Researches concerning synthesis, characterization, theory and modeling. The study is directed at uncovering application variables such as electrical, magnetic, mechanical, corrosion and acoustic properties aimed at supporting the industry<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Geophysics<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">The application of physics in studying the phenomena of the earth and its use for mapping natural structures and rocks below the earth&#8217;s surface. Earth&#8217;s symptoms include natural events that can occur on earth, sea and atmosphere and their interactions with human life. The natural structure under the settlement is closely related to the interests of exploration of mining materials (oil, gas and minerals) as well as civil construction planning. Subsurface artificial structures can be used for environmental and archeological studies.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Opto-electronics<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Studying and researching optical communication devices (optical fiber and photonic devices) and microwaves (mobile communication antennas, portable phones) both experimentally and numerically analysis using the FD-BPM &amp; FD-TD method; and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) with holographic and ESPI methods.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Theoretical Physics<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Understanding, studying and expressing fundamental laws in nature, specifically interested in the application of quantum field theory to particle physics and related actual issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Instrumentational Physics<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Research and develop sensors, measurements, and data acquisition both analog and digital and on line and in real time. Sensor objects include natural processes, chemical processes, and those related to other physical quantities. Modeling and simulation are also developed for the design of instrumentation systems and control systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" data-placeholder=\"Terjemahan\"><span lang=\"en\">Medical Physics and Biohysics<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Physics applications that focus on studying the fields of Radiotherapy, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine. The process of teaching and learning activities is focused on learning and researching radiation physics and dosimetry, the application of external and internal radiation beams produced by therapy machines, and external and internal radiotherapy planning. Medical imaging, image quality, and image reconstruction produced by Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, magnetic resonance (MRI), and nuclear medicine are also studied and researched. In addition, studying and researching the relationship between microscopic interactions with cell responses, deterministic and stochastic effects, radiation detection equipment, and radiation protection, radiation effects on living cells occur in all medical activities that utilize ionizing radiation, in the fields of diagnostics, radiotherapy, and nuclear medicine.
