ITS Reveals a Strategic Plan for Research Commercialization

ITS has released its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan as a new direction for campus development centered on innovation and entrepreneurship. Through the RAISE strategy, ITS is promoting applied research and the commercialization of innovations so that research outcomes do not end with publication but instead have a tangible impact on society and industry.

ITS Terangin Renewable Energy Research

A team of ITS students developed Terangin, an innovation based on wind and solar energy designed to support environmentally friendly agricultural pest control. This research earned ITS a spot in the Top 6 at the 2026 Fowler Global Innovation Challenge in the United States.

Two ITS students, Ismatul Aulia Rizki Kirana and Intan Fitri Hardyanti, won first place at the 2026 LLDIKTI Region VII East Java Pilmapres Competition for the diploma and undergraduate programs. Both presented innovations focused on public health and welfare. What an incredible achievement.
