Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has unveiled its 66th anniversary logo, embodying the spirit of making a meaningful and sustainable contribution to society. Its philosophy represents socially responsible innovation, collaboration, and ITS's ongoing commitment to delivering tangible results for Indonesia.

The ITS Sapuangin Team secured 2nd place overall in the ICV Southeast Asia category and 36th place overall in the ICV category at the Formula SAE Japan 2026 event. This achievement reaffirms the ITS Sapuangin Team's competitiveness in developing formula vehicles that meet international standards.

The high risk of earthquakes in Indonesia has driven ITS to develop mitigation technologies, including sensors for vibration detection and prototypes of earthquake resistant buildings. This collaborative innovation by the Automation Electronic Engineering and Civil Engineering Departments of ITS supports real-time earthquake detection and enhances disaster preparedness.

The BENWIT ITS research team has developed a method for producing gasoline from palm oil as a low-emission fuel alternative. Using a catalytic cracking method with a bimetallic catalyst, the team successfully increased biogasoline yield by up to 83% while lowering the process temperature. This innovation offers a more efficient and sustainable solution for fuel production.
