Benchmarking or comparative study is an activity to study at a place or institution with the aim of finding and learning new things or knowledge. Benchmarking at the lecture level is very much needed for the development of better ormawa performance. Therefore, the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Electrical and Intelligent Information Technology (BEM FTEIC) makes it happen through a benchmarking activity called the Electrics Visit or ELVIS.

This activity was held on Friday, 27 May 2022 with the Vocational Faculty Student Executive Board (BEM FV) as the organization for benchmarking. The activity was held virtually through a zoom meeting and lasted for about 2 hours. The activity begins with an introduction and presentation of the work program from each Head of BEM then followed by a Focus Group Discussion or FGD from each department in the breakout room. In order for the FGD to run optimally, the departments from BEM FTEIC and BEM FV were grouped if they had the same focus in the field so that discussions about the work programs of both parties went well.

The Electis Visit was successfully carried out and was attended by almost all of the FTEIC BEM functionaries. With this extraordinary enthusiasm, it is hoped that the knowledge and insights that have been obtained can be useful for developing the organization to be even better in the future.
