What is myITS Portal Password Reset?

The myITS Portal Password Reset service enables users to reset the password of their myITS account when they are unable to sign in to the myITS Portal due to a forgotten password or an invalid password.

This service is intended to restore secure access to the user’s myITS account after their identity has been successfully verified. The myITS account serves as a Single Sign-On (SSO) account, providing access to various ITS services, including the myITS Portal, Microsoft 365, SIAKAD, and other ITS applications and services.

myITS Portal Password Reset Requirements

  • Users have attempted to recover their account using the Forgot Password feature on the myITS Portal; however, the account recovery process was unsuccessful.
  • Users must submit a service request through the Servicedesk addressed to DPTSI.
  • The request must be submitted by the account owner and cannot be made on behalf of another person. The request must include the user’s full name, Student/Employee Identification Number (NRP/NIP/NPP), ITS email address, a screenshot of the issue encountered, and a file of a valid Student Identity Card (KTM) or National Identity Card (KTP).

Sercive Workflow

Users attempt to recover their account using the Forgot Password feature on the myITS Portal sign-in page.

If the account recovery is unsuccessful, users submit a password reset request through the Service Desk.

The LTSI Team verifies the submitted information.

The LTSI Team processes the myITS Portal password reset request.

The LTSI Team notifies the user once the password reset has been completed.

Users can sign in to the myITS Portal using their new password.

Do I need to complete identity verification?

Yes. Identity verification is required to ensure that the password reset request is submitted by the legitimate account owner before the password reset process is carried out.

How long does the password reset process take?

Once the password has been reset, the system requires approximately 5–10 minutes to synchronize before the new password can be used to access myITS Portal.

Can I request a password reset for someone else's account?

No. Password reset requests must be submitted by the account owner and are subject to identity verification. Requests submitted on behalf of another person will not be processed.
