Monday, December 12 2022, DPTSI again held training related to Firewall and RouteroS Security. This training was attended by all Information Technology Infrastructure and Security staff, DPTSI, ITS. Located in the A04-DPTSI Training Room, ITS, this training lasted for 2 consecutive days.
Provision of knowledge related to advance DHCP, DNS, and Proxy, to practice Firewall configuration and settings, was held on the first day. Configurations carried out include Firewall configurations (Basic Packet flow, NAT, Custom Chain), and Firewall settings (Packet Flow Advances, Mangle) and QOS (Bandwith Management).
Entering the second day, the speaker explained material related to RouteroS Security (Intnision Detection System) configuration. Apart from studying the material provided, the trainees also underwent the MTCTCE certification exam on the final day.
