The Directorate of Information Technology and System Development (DPTSI) in collaboration with Microsoft held Microsoft Teams training through the Teams and Zoom application on Monday, June 15, 2020.
The training was attended by more than 300 participants from among the lecturers. Furthermore, the program opened with remarks from the Director of DPTSI, Dr. Umi Laili Yuhana, S.Kom., M.Sc., and guided by Mrs. Dini Adni Navastara, S.Kom., M.Sc. (Head of Customer Relations and LTSI-TSI Business Planning, DPTSI) as the event host.
The presenters who filled the workshop were from Microsoft Global Training Partners, Alfa Connection, Ricky Yap. In his presentation, he delivered an explanation related to Office 365, OneDrive, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and some of the processes in it.
The training focused more on material related to Microsoft Teams Meeting and Classroom. Ricky said, currently, Teams have support on 3 platforms, can be accessed through a web browser, and can also be accessed via desktop and mobile. For the training session, Ricky is more demonstrating access through a web browser.
“In Microsoft Teams there are 2 versions, the version for education and the next one is the commercial version, but there’s no need to be afraid, for the commercial version and the education version, the education feature is more complete than the commercial version,” he explained. Ricky also added, for its use, it is strongly recommended the desktop version compared to the web version.
In addition to the presentation of the material, the training also presented a question and answer session for the participants.
