We believe that architectural education at ITS equips students and graduates to develop knowledge while producing unique and innovative architectural ideas. This ability is very much needed in responding to today’s global challenges, ranging from climate change, pandemics, and limited natural resources to various educational, economic, and social gaps.<\/p>\n
In facing these challenges, the Department of Architecture ITS is committed to always providing the best education by combining the rapid development of information technology and maintaining the values \u200b\u200bof the nation’s noble traditions. Through this approach, graduates of the Department of Architecture ITS are expected to have high self-confidence, superior competitiveness at the global level, and be able to take on an increasingly broader role in the national and international arenas. Currently, the Department of Architecture ITS is supported by around 39 lecturers and 14 non-academic staff and has five laboratories. These laboratories cover various areas of architectural study, ranging from architectural design, history, architectural theory and criticism, architectural science and technology, housing and settlements, and urban design. At the same time, the existence of these laboratories also reflects the department’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation in architecture.<\/p>\n
In line with our commitment to providing quality architectural education and the best service to the community, the Department of Architecture ITS also offers various information and data needed by academics, alums, and the wider community. This information and data are presented through the department’s official website and an online lecture system that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This ensures the public obtains clear and accurate information directly from the source. In addition, this ease of access helps the community follow the increasingly rapid development of science.<\/p>\n
In the future, we hope that the Department of Architecture ITS will be increasingly recognized globally through better communication and dissemination of information between academics, the community, and alums, facilitated by the presence of this online platform.
