Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,<\/span><\/p>\n The Department of Actuarial Science at the Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), enters its eighth year with a strengthened commitment to serving society and advancing the actuarial profession. Having successfully established its academic foundation, the Department is now focusing on strengthening its role and making meaningful contributions to the actuarial profession and Indonesia\u2019s development.<\/span><\/p>\n The achievement of an Excellent Accreditation from LAMSAMA, along with recognition as one of the best new study programs under the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) ITS, reflects our commitment to maintaining educational quality, curriculum relevance, and sustainable academic governance. Nevertheless, our greatest measure of success lies in the achievements of our alumni, who continue to contribute actively across the financial and insurance industries, government institutions and regulatory bodies, academia, and various other strategic sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n The Department of Actuarial Science at FSAD ITS develops actuarial education grounded in science, data, and analytics, with distinctive strengths in catastrophe actuarial science, marine actuarial science, and Sharia-based actuarial applications. These three areas are strategically designed to address Indonesia\u2019s unique characteristics as a disaster-prone country, a maritime nation, and a country with significant potential for the growth of the Islamic financial industry.
