Tonsillitis is often found in the daily practice of general practitioners and ENT-KL specialists. However, many people still do not know the signs of tonsillitis. Here are 9 signs of tonsillitis:<\/p>\n

  1. At first the throat felt hot and dry<\/li>\n
  2. Severe and sudden pain when swallowing over a period of days to weeks<\/li>\n
  3. Pain radiating to the ear or head (headache)<\/li>\n
  4. Child does not want to eat, nauseous, vomiting, stomach ache<\/li>\n
  5. High fever (in children can cause convulsions)<\/li>\n
  6. Snoring in sleep<\/li>\n
  7. Bad breath<\/li>\n
  8. Tonsils are swollen, reddish and have whitish mucus on them.<\/li>\n
  9. Lumps in the neck area due to enlarged lymph nodes and tenderness<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In patients who experience tonsillitis, not all 9 signs appear, often only a few signs. If you or your family experience the above, it is advisable not to take any medicine, especially antibiotics, because the use of antibiotics that are not in accordance with doctor’s recommendations will make the bacteria that cause tonsillitis become resistant and difficult to treat.<\/p>\n

    Not all tonsillitis cases require surgery, the doctor will evaluate with further examination and therapy that is appropriate to the current condition. For temporary treatment at home, you can consume fever-reducing drugs and antibacterial mouthwash. If within 3 days there is no change or the complaint is getting worse, immediately consult a general practitioner or ENT-KL specialist, because early treatment makes tonsillitis therapy have a better effect. The right therapy will minimize the occurrence of complications caused by tonsillitis.<\/p>\n
