Surabaya, ELECTICS ITS – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), through the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Informatics (ELECTICS), once again demonstrated its commitment as a leading higher education institution in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). ITS held the grand finale of the AI Talent and Innovation Day (ATID) 2025 at Grha Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Carrying the theme “Building an Intelligent and Innovative Generation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence,” this event became a strategic momentum for synergy between ITS and the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) in strengthening national digital talent.

Representing the Minister of Communication and Digital, the event was attended directly by the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of Komdigi, Boni Pudjianto, Ph.D. He delivered a guest lecture and declared a joint commitment to developing globally competitive digital talent through the AI Talent Factory program.

The main highlight of the event was the inauguration of AI Ambassadors, consisting of selected students from various levels of education.

“This program is the result of AI training attended by 977 students from 290 schools throughout 2025,” explained Diana, Dean of ELECTICS ITS.

This statement emphasized the massive scale of the digital literacy initiative carried out by ITS. This progressive step further strengthens ITS’s reputation as a leading educational institution. It aligns with the latest data from EduRank, an independent international ranking institution, which places ITS first as the best university in Indonesia in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This recognition serves as strong legitimacy for ITS to lead the national technology literacy movement.

In addition, the ITS AI Campus Roadmap was officially announced, along with the handover of Policy Brief documents regarding guidelines for AI usage at the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels.
